How We Fabricate Printed Braille Signs.
To start, we can either utilize your design(s), or customize a design for you. This can be a photo, company logo, or simple colors. Each printed braille sign can have a different background and look. Graphic Impact uses lasers to precisely cut each of the signs. The initial sign layout can be done in software such as Photoshop, Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator.
Once the designs are completed, we use a proprietary process to add the raised braille, room numbers, names, etc. Raised graphics and logos, if required can then be added to the background design. CLICK HERE to see a sign being fabricated.
Normally, a thin piece of cast acrylic is used for the design and raised printed braille signs and then laminated to a PVC backer. The completed sign can be any thickness. Quarter inch or half inch are the most popular.
