A twelve color digital printer is used for Giclée prints. Twelve colors are necessary for artists and professional photographers works. We are able to produce colors on this printer that a standard CMYK printer does not.
This allows us to reproduce original paintings for artists since it has the capability of reproducing the complete gamut of colors including facial tones and other colors that are not able to be reproduced by four and six color process printers. One option is to request that your project be completed with our latex printer. It is less expensive and close to Giclée quality.
